How to find us?

The  CMG or Centre for Medical Genetics is situated in the Universitair Ziekenhuis Brussel, the university hospital of the VUB.

Directions to UZ Brussel

By car

UZ Brussel, Laarbeeklaan 101, 1090 Brussels
can be reached via the Brussels orbital motorway (R0).

From Zaventem take exit 9 to Steenweg op Brussel: turn left. At the next traffic lights turn right into Dikke-Beuklaan.
Follow the signs to UZ Brussel.

Coming from Ghent, take exit 9 towards Dikke-Beuklaan: turn right.
Follow the signs to UZ Brussel.

By train -

The Brussel-Noord – Aalst – Gent and Brussel-Noord – Dendermonde services both stop at Jette station.
Take bus 53 from there.

By bus - en

From Brussel-Noord railway station: bus 14 (after 20:00 take bus 15).
From Jette railway station: bus 53.
From Simonis metro station: bus 13 (after 20:00 take bus 15).
From Beekkant or Heizel metro stations: bus 84
Bus 245 (Dendermonde - Brussel-Noord) and 820 (Zaventem-Vilvoorde-Jette) also stop at UZ Brussel.

By air -

If you arrive from abroad at Zaventem international airport or at Brussels South in Charleroi you can take the train from there to Brussel-Noord and then continue by bus (see above).
You can also take a taxi from Zaventem, Charleroi or Brussel-Noord.

If you come by taxi you should state clearly that you want to go to UZ Brussel in Jette. There are other hospitals and genetics centres in the Brussels area, and UZ Brussel may not be as well known to some French-speaking taxi drivers.
